You don’t have to schedule a gym visit to get moving. Search through your garage, basement or kitchen for items you could use to get active at home. Check out these 10 at-home gym hacks below.
1. PAPER PLATES
They make for an ab-solutely awesome core workout.
2. PAPER TOWELS
They’ll help you get rolling with some lateral jumps.
3. CANS & BOTTLES
Here’s a smart idea: use household objects as dumbbells. Use cans, bottles and jugs of laundry detergent to do some arm exercises, like the ones below.
4. TOWELS
They’re the original resistance bands.
5. CHAIRS
Before you sit down, turn up the intensity with some chair dips or chair lunges.
6. BALLS
Have a ball doing some squats.

Stools are great tools for toe raises and more.
