Apple and Veggie Sausage Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices cinnamon raisin bread,¬†preferably whole wheat
  • 1/2 frozen vegetarian sausage patty
  • 1 teaspoon raspberry jam
  • 4 thin slices of an apple
  • 1/2 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Toast bread.
  2. Microwave sausage patty until hot, about 30 seconds, or according to package directions. Crumble.
  3. Spread jam on 1 piece of toast.
  4. Top with the sausage, apple slices, cheese and the remaining slice of toast.
  5. Cut in half and serve.
