Broiled Tomatoes
Ingredients
6 Roma tomatoes, halved with cores removed
Salt and pepper to taste
Dried Italian herbs to taste
Balsamic vinegar for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
Place oven rack a few inches from the top and turn oven to the
broil setting.
Place tomatoes on a baking sheet with the cut side up.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried herbs.
Broil for 5 – 10 minutes or until tomatoes start to brown. Remove
from oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
