You will need:

  • Shape Your Future Valentine’s Day Cards: Download here! 
  • Apples, oranges, pears, bananas or your favorite fruits!
  • Plastic sandwich bags
  • Stapler

Directions:

  1. Print and cut out the Shape Your Future Valentine’s Day cards.
  2. Place fruit pieces into the sandwich bags and seal.
  3. Staple Valentine’s Cards on the bags with the same fruit that is on the cards.
  4. Deliver to your friends for Valentine’s Day!

Stay hydrated with this Heart Healthy water recipe!

You will need:

  • A pitcher
  • Ice
  • Water
  • Grapes, strawberries, raspberries or your favorite red fruit!

Directions:

  1. Fill your pitcher will water and ice.
  2. Add in the red fruit and let the fruit infuse the water for about 30 minutes.
  3. Enjoy a refreshing drink with your classroom!

You Will need:

  • Wooden skewers
  • Strawberries, grapes, raspberries

Directions:

  1. Cut the strawberries on each side to make a point at the bottom center and cut out a point at the top of the strawberry to make a heart shape.
  2. Alternate adding the fruit on the wooden skewers.

You will need:

  1. 3 cups of spring mix lettuce
  2. 2 slices on low fat provolone cheese
  3. 1 raspberry for garnish

Directions:

  1. Wash and prepare the lettuce for your salad and plate.
  2. Place one slice of provolone on top of the bed of lettuce
  3. Cut the second slice of provolone in half and place on top of the first in the shape of an envelope.
  4. Garnish the envelope with a raspberry.
