Store produce at a level where kids can easily see and reach in the refrigerator
Berries – Mix 1/2 cup vinegar into 2 quarts of cold water. Submerge berries in water for 5 minutes, drain and pat dry with paper towels. Remove stems and store in an airtight container
Carrots/ Celery – Cut into sticks or rounds for easy snacking
Apples – Slice for easy snacking
Broccoli/ Cauliflower – Break into bite-size pieces
Pineapple, Mango, Melon – Peel and cut into chunks
Bell Peppers – Cut into thin strips
Radishes – Rounds or quarters
Consider having healthy dips nearby like hummus or yogurt dip to pair with your fruits and veggies!
