“You’re never too old to start being active. When my grandson was born last year, I realized I want to be a fun “grams” and not watch everything from the sidelines. I played sports some growing up, but hadn’t done anything active in years. I started a couch-to-5K program with a good friend and I have ran in three 5K races this year. My husband and I also joined a volleyball league and have benefited not only from the physical activity but from the friendships too.”
