Spring and summer are the perfect time to introduce new fruits and veggies to your kids. Luckily, it just so happens to be berry-picking season in Oklahoma! Believe it or not, our state’s climate is perfect for a few types of berries. There are bushels of great places to pick strawberries, blueberries and blackberries from early May through September.

Not only will a “pick your own” day be a fun outing with the family, it’s also a great way to get your picky eaters to try new fruits and veggies!
