While adults need 30 minutes of physical activity every day, children and adolescents need even more to achieve the same health benefits. No matter how they get it, kids need 60 minutes of physical activity every day.

Activities should include aerobic, muscle-strengthening and bone-strengthening exercises, as well as balance and stretching activities. By getting at least 60 minutes of movement every day, kids can improve their health and their futures.
